For the first twelve weeks of the high school football season, WCBI will conduct a Battle of the Bands, pitching competing bands against each other in a website voting contest.

Regular Season Battle

Two bands will be featured each Friday night for twelve weeks. There will be a sneak peak of the bands performances on Friday Night during the End Zone. You will be able to tune in Saturday and Sunday night for more on the featured bands performances during sports. Viewers will be encouraged to visit wcbi.com beginning the Friday Night to vote on the two featured bands of the week. Voting will conclude each Monday at 5pm.  The band with the most votes will move on to the semi-final round which will be held after the regular high school football season. At the end of the regular season, viewers will have had the opportunity to watch performances and vote on 24 bands.

The Semi-Final Round

The winning 12 bands that have been selected from the regular season will be grouped in fours for a semi-final competition.  Again, viewers will be asked to visit wcbi.com to vote beginning Friday Night. Voting will conclude Monday at 5pm. One band will move on to the final battle. There will be three weeks of semi-finals, where 3 bands will remain in the competition.

The Final Round

One last vote night featuring the 3 winning bands from semi-finals will be featured on a Friday, Sat and Sun and again our viewers will be asked to vote the following Monday to help select the winner.
